Brooke Fraser - "Albertine" Tour at The Gov, Adelaide (May 5th 2007) : Supported by Melbourne act, Brendan Welsh, Adelaide was the last stop of Brooke Fraser’s Australian and New Zealand Albertine Tour. Jetsetting across Australia and the Tasman, Brooke performed 16 shows beginning in Dundein with sold out performances around Australia coinciding with the March 31st release of her sophomore album, Albertine. A stark contrast to her last visit to the Festival City in 2004 where she played infront of a small crowd in the “red light district” of Adelaide, the capacity crowd on Saturday, May 5th at The Gov welcomed Brooke on stage with rapturous applause. With fans lining up for over three hours to secure front row seats at The Gov, the impatient audience chanted and cheered coaxing Brooke from the backstage area. Brooke failed to disappoint immediately breaking into Deciphering Me, the first single from Albertine. Interposed with stories from her tour, her childhood and personal reflections about children, life and her faith, Brooke performed a set of songs from both her seven times platinum debut album “What to Do With Daylight” and her latest release Albertine. The intimate Adelaide audience hung onto each word of her tales; like every good Kiwi should, she even treated the Adelaide audience to a pronunciation of “fish and chips” and “stick insect”. Perhaps the caption for these photographs should read “Brooke Fraser, NZ Singer/Songwriter/Story Teller/Comedian”. The multi-talented Fraser moved from the microphone stand to the guitar beginning the evening with up-beat, high tempo renditions of Lifeline, Better and Seeds before winding down the evening with her powerful vocals backed by a slow keyboard melody performing Hymn and Faithful. Brooke’s powerful voice and lyrical genius mesmerised a silent and motionless audience throughout the evening.

"Soft Sculpt" by the Pazzia Contemporary Performing Collective - Fringe Factory Theatre : "Pazzia" is an international network of interdisciplinary emerging and experimental artists, committed to a fusion of live music with real-time performance art. The collective performed "Soft Sculpt" as part of the Adelaide Fringe 2007 over three nights at the Fringe Factory theatre, each performance slightly different with artists allowed to express themselves through their own medium of choice.
